Vitral's rooflights and roof glazing systems are able to achieve the industry's lowest U-values due to the focus on their construction.

Vitral achieves an overall system U-value of lower than 1.6W/m2K.  This figure includes the glass, with it's mid pane U-value of 1.1W/m2K, and the frame of the Vitral sytem, plus the head and cill detail.

This is only possible due to the thermal efficiency of the frame.  Other systems focus entirelly on the U-value of the glass, or the mid pane value itself but these do not give an accurate figure for the thermal performance of the roof glazing.

  • Typical U-value 1.54W/m2K
  • Air Permeability to Class 4 at 600 Pa
  • Minimal frame means maximum light and reduces U-values
  • High quality construction that provides long term life expectancy and will not deteriorate
