Vitral's new A74 rooflight system has been designed with high performance as a standard, it provides the lowest overall system U-value available of 1.5 W/m²K.
Vitral's systems are hot box tested to prove their efficiency rather than using assumed values. We undertake U-value calculations for every project proving Part L compliance.
Natural Ventilation
As with Vitral's premier system, the VRS system, The A74 does not have a carrier frame as with patent glazing or curtain walling. This means every panel is capable of opening without the need for extra framing, so maintaining low U-values, controlling costs and maximising the amount of daylight through the system.
Full Life Safety Fire Ventilation (EN12101-2)
A standard feature that Vitral adopts is ensuring its system comply with EN12101-2:2003 legislation for smoke ventilation.
