Rooflights and Roof glazing for Conservation Projects
Conservation PDF Print E-mail

If the project demands a conservation style rooflight, there does not need to be a compromise on performance.  Vitral was installed at the English Heritage Headquarters in Cambridge.  The two key design points of a conservation rooflight are usually that it must be flush to the roof and dark in colour, generally black.  Combine these two requirements with no visible difference between an opening and a fixed panel, plus the performance offered and you can see why Vitral was chosen by English Heritage for their own building.

Typically conservation style rooflights sacrifice performance for visual styling.  It may look original but condensation and losing a large amount of heat is not appealing for any property.

Vitral's roofglazing systems have been installed in conservation projects large and small, individual homes to theatres needing to recreate original designs with the best performance possible
