VitraLight Roof Glazing
Description
VitraLight is the cost-effective, easy to install, very-high-insulation, factory sealed, thermally broken A74 roof light solution for flat roofs. VitraLight comes fully pre-assembled, ready to crane onto the roof for simple fitting over the prepared roof opening.
Benefits
- U-value - Vitral's rooflights and roof glazing systems are able to achieve the industry's lowest U-values due to the focus on their construction: VitraLight U-value 1.04 W/m²K. Outer surface (800 x 1500 mm clear internal opening): 6.41 m²
- Materials - VitraLight uses the factory sealed, thermally broken A74 roof glazing system in 45 pitch. External flashings supplied are aluminium and with pre-drillings for quick fixing.
- Materials - The kerb is a sandwich construction with triple painting (white) on all internally visible surfaces.
- Glass - VitraLight has low energy double insulated glass units with Argon fill and “warm edge” spacer profile, outside with toughened safety glass and inside with laminated safety glass.
- Colour - The standard profile colour is nature anodized.
- Ventilation - opening vents are easily incorporated and are indistinguishable from fixed panels. VitraLight can be part of the building’s fire strategy - EN12101-2.
- Dimensions - We recommend clear internal width x length of 1200 x 2400 mm. Min-max clear internal width: 800-1500 mm. Min-max clear internal length: 1500-2700 mm. Total kerb thickness: 272 mm. Kerb height: 200 mm.
- Certifications - VitraLight is CE-marked (EN14351-1).

- Wind/rain sensor option: One wind/rain sensor which will close the panel(s) in bad weather. Can be combined with both options 1 and 2.
- VitraLight comes with 5 years warranty. For opening mechanisms 2 years.
- Option 2: Two opening motors incl. fixings, one motor controller and one switch.
- On request, many other glass, colour and dimension options are possible.
