A74 Roof Glazing

Description

As with Vitral's premier system, the VRS system, the A74 does not have a carrier frame as with patent glazing or curtain walling. This means every panel is capable of opening without the need for extra framing, so maintaining low U-values, controlling costs and maximising the amount of daylight through the system.

1. U - value - A74 U-value of 1.5 W/m²K.
2. Materials – High quality aluminium construction that provides long term life expectancy and will not deteriorate.
3. Glass - A74 has low energy double insulated glass units with Argon fill and “warm edge” spacer profile, outside with toughened safety glass and inside with laminated safety glass.
4. Colour - Anodised aluminium or ppc to any RAL.
5. Ventilation - The A74 does not have a carrier frame as with patent glazing or curtain walling. This means every panel is capable of opening without the need for extra framing.
6. Dimensions – Profile dimension: Height 74mm, Width 50mm; Panel dimension: Height 250-2900mm, Width 250-1200mm, Panel area 2m².
7. Certifications - A74 is CE-marked (EN14351-1). Full Life Safety Fire Ventilation (EN12101-2): A standard feature that Vitral adopts is ensuring its system comply with EN12101-2:2003 legislation for smoke ventilation.
